Mr. Emmanuel Johannes Chacha is a highly accomplished expert in audit, risk, and governance with over 20 years of experience in areas such as internal auditing, fraud examination, cybersecurity, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Kepler Associates Limited, a regional consultancy and training firm. He also served as a Director on the Global Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), where he was responsible for Professional Certifications for the 2023-2025 term.
Mr. Chacha is a Certified Director from North America Association of Corporate Directors based in US and holds multiple global certifications, including Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA)-UK and Scotland, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Project Management Professional (PMP). His educational background includes an MBA in Financial Services from the University of East London, a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, a BSc in Electronics and Communication Science from the University of Dar es Salaam, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from Columbia Business School and MIT, Postgraduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Business Leaders from University of Texas and Great Learning. He serves on several boards including listed companies. As an internationally accredited trainer, he has led cybersecurity, audit, leadership and governance training for major institutions in East Africa.
