Dr. Rehema Twalib is a seasoned development economist with more than three decades of experience in development finance, governance, and public sector reform. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Université de Technologie (France), an MSc in Development Economics from the University of Bradford (UK), and a BA in Economics from the University of Dar es Salaam. She is a certified director and an active member of the Institute of Directors Tanzania.

 

Dr. Twalib spent nearly 20 years at Tanzania Investment Bank (TIB), contributing to projects in institutional restructuring, financial sector studies, and strategy development. She has also served as the  executive Secretary for the APRM Tanzania Secretariat and as a government consultant, leading and supporting national governance reviews, planning, and policy documentation. Her board service includes the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) and PASS Trust, where she contributes valuable insights into agriculture financing and governance.
